*flaps at you*

So, this is just not playing fair! You tell me to go work and then post this. *baleful eyes*

But oh wow, Ruth! I love the way you write - there's something almost melodic about it. The way you say things is just gorgeous, but it never gets out of hand, you manage to keep it real at the same time.

...And this comment has been sitting half finished in a tab for hours.

Also, FRANK. FRANK IERO-WAY. I WANT TO PET YOU.

I may not know the AU but I did get the cliff notes at the weekend so here goes. ;)

Gorgeously written, really love the way his thoughts flow and especially the little pop culture references (although now I'm picturing Patrick Stewart as James Bond and that is one fucked up image but that's just me).

Love the "I'm screwed" folder, oh and the bare chested ninja fighting team!

And finally, lero-way - Just. Too. Cute. :D

I am the latest! This is only defensible because every time I try to comment, I dissolve into incoherence again. You have no idea how long I've had this page open with the little cursor button blinking at me tauntingly. But I'M GOING TO TRY AGAIN. Gird my loins, all that.

This is just... haunting, really. It's so clear how Frank isn't a normal boy anymore, isn't quite human -- his thought processes trip over themselves and go different paths, and it's a little sad and a lot gorgeous and very... what is the word I want? Very natural, almost, more like the thoughts of a creek or the wind than a kid. But then Gerard jolts him back into laughing, and it's so sweet and poignant I can barely stand it.

I can't believe you spun something so lovely and intricate out of something I wrote, honestly. Thank you so so much -- it is one of the best gifts I've ever received.

SEE THIS IS NOT AT ALL AN ADEQUATE COMMENT, but I give up.

Oh, that is LOVELYNESS. Fraaaaank.

Mikey telling tree!Frank about the shirtless zombie fighting comics. And the glittery gel pen love! Heeee. I love these delightful dorky boys, you write them super wonderfully <3
