I got the B-Air BB-1 fan for frolic.  Turned the thing on in my kitchen pointed up, and suddenly lint balls were being pulled from under the fridge and the stove, and papers were being pulled away from magnets on the fridge.  And the thing sounds like a jet engine ( Read more... )

It's possible to slow it, but it requires a special technique way beyond my skill level. And there's no commercial product to do it. It would require an electrical engineer skillset.

I think it'll be fine. It's noisy, but it's for a loud club, and going to be next to speakers that are 8 feet tall. If it doesn't work, I'll just return it and get something else.
