One question, one you say this is part 1 of 8 and a 3 part redemption arc, do you mean that chapters 1-8 deal with rehab or is the 3 arcs in those eight chapters? I hope that makes sense.
Hey! Glad you enjoyed. I actually started writing pieces of the story based on pics I made, instead of the other way around. So I'm glad you like the pics.
As for the Chapters and the Arcs... This story has been divided into 3 arcs to allow for a more realistic posting schedule. If I waited until I had the entire thing complete the show would be cancelled and in sindication before I got this dity up. So we have arc 1 which deals with the rehab aspect (8 chapters long). Then arc 2 which deals with Dean coming "home" and them trying to deal with that. And finally arc 3 which is the final acceptance and moving on with life phase. Don't know the chapter counts for those two, yet.
Decided to follow this one here - I'm more on LJ than on ff.net
So, no cure for Dean in this one? We'll see how this turns out. Can't wait for the next chapter.
If you wanna link between chapters you'll have to go back to this entry once you know the url for the next one, edit the entry and put in a hyperlink. I don't think there's an easier way to do it.
Hey! Sorry, no cure for Dean... I struggled with it a bit, but in the end I decided I would rather tell a story about overcoming the odds and making something of himself than another story where everything magically gets better in the end. Hope I do it justice!
Thanks for the help with the hyperlinks. I think I did it right (crosses fingers!) I guess I will find out soon.
Oh, man, this threatens to be very intense indeed. I can't WAIT! The pics are so great.
I didn't know anything about LJ a year ago, either, but I learned it all on the FAQs, which are incredibly straightforward and clear. The answer to this question is here: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=67
So, I guess I'm kind of late in responding to this... I kinda got caught up in your birthday meme and lost track of everything else! Thank you so much for the FAQ link - I'm sure I will log many hours over there.
And glad you are enjoying the story so far - I'm struggling to find appropriate 'hospital' pics but they get better and more plentiful once he goes to rehab. Enjoy! And thanks. : )
So glad to see this up. I've been stalking/lurking your fic on ff.net for ages and I a thrilled to hear you're going forward with this story. :) Looking forward to part 2
I'm glad you found it! And so glad it was worth your time to keep watch for this. As a fellow stalker on many a fic, I must say thank you for posting a review as well. : ) I will still be posting both here and on ff.net, but the pics will only be found here - of course. Hope you enjoy part 2!
