hi kids
i haven't really been doing anything with my life.
just work, pool league on tuesdays, and taking care of my baby.
i guess i don't have anything constructive to post.
i've really gotten into the chick shows like The O.C. and Veronica Mars and have started to lose interest in stuff like Monk, Dead Zone, and 24. I guess I feel like the shows I used to like don't quite have the same drama level they were at in the past. I feel like 24 isn't as believable as it once was and I'm just not following things as closely. But then again, it does have those moments since they write on the fly and it can turn around at any time. Plus Veronica Mars has a very corny sense of humor like myself and is therefore hysterical
The DVR is one of the greatest inventions. They took a tivo and made it get tv listings from the cable box... genius! ok so they didn't do that much, it was all tivo's idea, but I have so many shows on there to catch up on. Several episodes of Prison Break, for example. Then there are shows I like (like CSI or Law & Order) that are on so often the DVR would burst at the seems so I don't record them.
Maybe I'll watch more now that we got a brand new tv for valentine's day!!!

Here is the 26" samsung we moved to the bedroom
It took running to a LOT of stores (J&R, PC Richard & Sons, Circuit City, Datavision, Best Buy) but I finally got the right bracket to hang this TV up on the wall
oh and i finally got the right sneakers, but they were too small. so i returned them and ordered a pair in another size, but they called and said they were out and were refunding me $75 (I paid $89 for 2 pairs originally) so now the other pair I got ended up costing me $15 instead of $65 and I have a $10 gift card. But I still have to try to buy these again, perhaps when the stock is more plentiful.
