I know how you feel...I am kind of in the same situation myself at the moment. Maybe there are problems in their relationship that you don't know about that may lead to a break up. At the very least, you could have him as a good friend. That would be better than nothing, right??
That's a good way of seeing it, but I don't want them to break up. They make such a cute couple and they are so into each other, I know it. From what I hear, she's a great person and great people deserve each other. I just sort of keep my comments to myself, tell him how cute they look together, things always work out, etc. etc. even though it sometimes kills me.
Yeah, that sucks, but hey, maybe there is someone else out there that fits your ideal, you just haven't found him yet. I could be someone you know, you just haven't found out a whole lot about him yet. This kinda reminds me of something a friend at work said to me about a week or so ago...
"When you want someone and start looking for that someone, it never works. The time you stop looking and let things happen, he'll be there."
I don't know if you are "looking" for that someone, but if you are, try this advice. Who knows, it may work *shrugs*.
