We were discussing how Simon LeVay had found scientific prof (which I'd rather not get into, but if you're interested you can read his research titled The Sexual Brain ) in which he explains SCIENTIFICALLY how it is more of a physical acceptance issue than a choice to be gay. Well, this ( Read more... )

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, is right! The story is about a woman who is charged with adultery and is brought to Jesus by scribes or (lawyers) or even (Pharisees) as a test to see if Jesus was liberal in matters of the Law of God. This is all found in John chapter 8 vs 7-11.. Jesus did not condemn the woman, not because he condoned her sin, but because the men that brought her were hypocrites. It goes on to say He forgave her and told her to go and sin no more, and to repent or basically she was screwed. Sure everyone isn’t perfect and yes we were all born into sin, but that doesn’t make it right, and that doesn’t mean we need to compromise just because “they have the right” rights are given and God didn’t not give man to man or woman to woman. Sin is sin and it has always been sin. You have to forget the gay friends you have, forget what society is telling you, forget what Hollywood is telling you, and read the Bible and take it at its face value. The bottom line is this; do you believe the entire Bible 100% with your whole heart? Do you believe that God in His infinite wisdom knows what He is talking about when He says that homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord? Read Leviticus 18:21-23, In fact, just read the entire 18th Chapter of Leviticus so you can see the context of the passage. And as for the whole translation not being 100% correct....you have two choices, 1. Become a Hebrew and Greek major and get your doctorate so you can translate the original text yourself, or 2. You trust that the translators of such Bibles as The King James Version, New King James Version, and the American Standard Version did the very best job they could at translating the scriptures and ask God to guide you in your studies of the scriptures. That's all you can do, that's all any of us ( ... )
