This appears to be the morning of Free-Roaming Priests -- I passed two different groups (one outside my El stop up north, one on the edge of Daley Plaza) with stoles and robes and signs saying "Ashes Here" or the equivalent. I approve of the community outreach, but I'm also amused as hell (so to speak). Apparently some churches are offering

Apparently some churches are offering glittery ashes, to show LGBTQA solidarity. :)

There are occasionally major benefits to living in the city with the largest Polish population outside of Warsaw.
