I'll go to Argentina for much of the rest of this month. It'll be exciting: I'll learn to tango, and maybe I'll do skiing or aerotow hang gliding or something else fun. Hiking in the snow? Why not ( Read more... )

Ohhhh, I LOVE Argentina. I studied abroad there in college and traveled around a fair bit. Will you be in Buenos Aires?

Yeah, I'll be in Buenos Aires for 3 weeks, and I'd like to make a couple side trips elsewhere (for capybaras, among other things). I've never been before, and I'm jealous of your studying abroad.

Yes, I'd love recommendations! The most important thing is finding good tango instructors, but beyond that knowing anything to do, good hostels to stay at, interesting things to see, would be excellent.

I was there from Feb-June 05. Loved loved loved it. I took a few tango lesson through my school but can't remember much about them so I can't help on that front ( ... )

I absolutely love Capybaras. I've seriously looking into the legality of having one as a pet. I know why you're excited, though. Much the same reason I am. It's like having a 140 lb guinea pig. You can't fool another guinea pig lover.
