Hi! I found your journal randomly (we both listed Yen Magazine as an interest). Hope you don't mind me commenting.

I love buying shirts on ebay. The only thing that sucks is how they sometimes raise the price through postage and handling. Getting stuff sent to Australia costs way more than it really should. I can't actually back that up: it's just a silly conspiracy theory. However, I would definitely buy a shirt you made. What kind of things do you stencil?

I study media and communications at uni and it is really interesting, even though it is a lot of work. The compulsory subjects are boring- electives are much better. You can do video production, radio and music industry studies, visual design, journalism and creative writing. I think it seems like you would be good at creative writing.

Ah... I have been a victim to the rip-off shipping scheme too. I was asked to pay US$9 to send ONE eyeshadow to Australia. Oy.

I'm not really a pro at stencilling. I just make up dumb slogans the occassional photo. I keep it simple. Just like me.

I would really love to study media and communications! What's your favourite subject?

Oh my, that must have worked out to be an expensive eyeshadow then!

I think my favourite subject would be a Film Studies course called Teen Cinema and Television. However, I don't know if studying film will actually get me a job. Haha. Anyway, good luck if you end up applying for Communications!

Can't believe you enjoy doing essays though. It gets horribly monotonous after awhile as you get at least a million essays per semester. If it weren't for my good friend Mr. Caffeine, I don't think I'd survive!

I used to hate essays in high school... but nowadays i'm studying communication design, and it's 'draw this, draw that'. You always have to come up with new ideas and concepts and colour schemes. I'd just like to work on something that is based on fact, so I can research it but also include my own ideas and creativity. Of course, once I start writing again, i'll be back to dreading essays!

I'd quite like to study film. You're so lucky with your course! I hope you get a great job at the end of it all.
