Summary: AU. They met again at the crossroad, where the past, the present and the future collided.

The tears dried as he picked his way through the bodies that lay strewn across the war-torn field. The field was full of freshly-dead corpses and the grass was dyed a deep red, the stench of blood hanging in the air.
He stopped when he came across the still form of a young girl, a blood-drenched cloth doll lying beside her small, pale hand. She had died here, crushed by a fallen horse.
He picked up the doll, the blood staining his hands and he cringed as the smell of blood invaded his senses. He forced himself to move on, and he stumbled, trying not to step on parts of bodies as the tears began to flow again.
The three of them met in the centre of the field, forming a triangle as they all stared at the ground, not even looking at each other.
“Is this what you wanted?” he whispered, looking up to glare at the other two through his tears.
Sungmin looked away and Kyuhyun was silent.
“All these dead bodies, this bloodbath? Is this what you wanted?!” Zhou Mi screamed, throwing the bloodied doll onto the ground, at the centre of their feet.
The silence spoke more than any words could.
There were only three of them left in the bloody, war-torn field, everyone else was dead.
There had always been three of them, ever since that day when the cherry blossoms fell around their delighted laughter.
