I haven't been very good with this LJ. I've had it since July 4, 2001. I should have kept up with things, especially over the last two years, when so many things have changed and happened in my life

I did not know that the Psychology Department gave it a name: Quarter Life Crisis. Life is a constant struggle.

I know exactly how you feel. I feel like a big part of me going back to school was just to avoid having to face the real world. I get to live another 4 structured years without having to make my own plan.
As far as relationships go, I either choose to be in ones that have no obvious future, or I push away those that should be worth getting close. Big defense mechanisms. You say you are ready....an open mind and open arms is really all it takes, I have no doubt that you will fall madly in love and live happily ever after. Your drive to create the life you want is one of the best things about you!
