Not far away, there were the sounds of a trumpet playing. The sounds were bright and excited, like the bright, sunny day the sounds were playing in.

The trumpeter himself was fairly tall and lanky, with light green hair. His trumpet was pointed to the sky and his eyes were closed, as a light breeze ruffled his hair and carried his tune away.

It hadn't taken long for Akane to walk into ear reach of the sunny tune of the trumpet, or follow it right to the green-haired trumpeter out of pure curiosity.

Listening, without a word, the music brought warmth and joy to her heart, and reminded her of only the fun times with her friends.

Kazuki took a breath after his song, and was about to launch into another one, when he noticed he had an audience. He put his hands and trumpet behind his head and grinned.

"So, what did you think?"

Blinking not once but twice when the boy spotted her and upbeatly asked her a question, Akane couldn't help but smile embarrassedly.

"Uhm," She searched for the right words in her head, taking a second or two, and continued when she found them, "It was wonderful! I really enjoyed listening." And then clapped her hands together, cheerfully, as if to emphasize her words.
