I think some people can't know how soul sucking a horrible job can be. When I was laid off last year, I started working at another place immediately and it's been... utterly horrible. I've found something else (about 3 weeks ago) that so far (knock on wood) I love, but I'm still semi working the soul sucking job to make some money for bills because I'm in need of bill intervention.
But hey, at least you've got something in the works.
