It's not even been a year since the last one (361 days to be precise) and here's already the next htb! I must be on fire!
To make up for the waiting time (or punish you even more) here's a long story about husband #36:
About 5 years ago there was a new German tv show called "Doctor's Diary" which was kind of a rip-off of Grey's Anatomy. I think I watched it for like 5 minutes, didn't like it and turned it off. Fast-forward to the summer of 2009, when I was looking for an internship on some movie set. Looking for ads I found one for a movie called "Vincent will mehr" and wanted to know more about said production. The short description said it was a movie about a young man who's on a road trip with his mother's ashes in a toffee tin. That made me mad because at that time I was preparing a story for my film class about a young man who's on a road trip with his father's ashes in a plastic bag. So obviously I felt betrayed! I found out that the script was written by some guy called Florian David Fitz and that he was also going to play the lead role. So I instantly decided to loathe him with all my heart. I didn't end up applying for the internship either, because it was for the production department and I wanted to look into directing.
A few weeks later I got an internship at one of Germany's worst tv shows (which I still regret) and moved to Munich for a couple of weeks. I didn't really know a lot of people there, so I spent a lot of time by myself. Bored I discovered that the girl whose room I had rented owned the first season of Doctor's Diary and since there wasn't anything else to do I started watching it. After a while I had to admit that while it wasn't necessarily a good show, I was highly entertained and often laughing out loud, which happens to me like once in a blue moon, when I watch something alone. In addition I discovered, that one of the main characters was one delicious bundle of hotness! Further research revealed his name: Florian David Fitz. So there was no other way than to revoke my opinion and instantly fall in love with him.
I know this is already a lovely story, but it goes on! Fast-forward again, it's now the end of 2012. I work at one of Germany's biggest movie websites, doing graphic design and social media stuff and occiasional interviews. And it just occurs that Florian David Fitz has a new movie coming out, so obviously someone has to do the interview. And so there I am, talking to one of my future husbands in real-life. As glamorous as this sounds it was a little disappointing. First of all I didn't really like the movie, which was his directing debut, secondly I was pretty star-struck and not the funny and witty person I normally am and thirdly he didn't propose to me, although he had about an 8 minute opportunity!
But now, a few month later I can look at stills from the interview, see him looking directly at me smiling and for a split second I'm happy :)
And by the way this thing is red, because I didn't do red yet. I thought it looked better in grey, but the last one was already grey, so screw it.
