I have to meet up with Joe around 5PM to go to Somerset High for some dinner thing about the book she wrote/I illustrated. I am sleepy and so do not feel like going even though it's only now just 9AM. ::sigh ( Read more... )

Sorry about not going last night but I would like to point something out about Bale's potrayal. That intensity in his nocturnal guise is osmething from the comics that has never been done in any of the previous films and Bale gets some credit for actually doing it. Remember, that Bruce Wayne and Batman are two distinct people and the intense Batman is in many ways the true Bruce Wayne.

I definitely don't have a problem with seeing Batman be intense; it's indeed a characteristic that's a must. I guess I feel Bale went a lil overboard as an actor and was a bit overdramatic with his lines. I think he should have been more determined, deep, and dark with his words. Cryptic almost. I guess that's how I've always perceived the comic book Batman.

Batman is not cryptic he is very direct about things.
