Especially--well I saw it in Chicago, but I suppose it's the same, or similar--the techie in me ADORES the rain effect with the lighting, during the part after Fiyero and Elphie run out of class with the lion cub? Yeah. There are so many fantastic technical aspects of that show...I JUST WANT TO SQUEE.
Other than that...incredible music is incredible. I saw it with my show choir in March, and...the choir seniors always sing 'For Good' at graduation, so when that song came on, all the girls and half of the boys started crying.
My only minor complaint is that I read the book first and it wasn't even remotely the same story once it reached a certain part, but...that's just me nitpicking.
omg, YES. I completely remember the rain!! It was incredible! All the lighting and costuming for the show was utterly fantastic. [Especially during One Short Day!!]
And of course, all the actors and actresses were super talented! I'd kill to see this show again~!
Ooh, and about the book... I actually have never read it the whole way through. I started it once and got like halfway through it, but then got distracted. :x [By PW:JFA, of all things, hehehe!] I definitely do want to finish it at some point, though.
:D YES. The costumes during the party were amazing too ♥

xD I read it on the trip to Chicago with my show choir, rofl, so it was fresh in my mind. I'm a litdork so every time something was different, I was like "ololwhut?" (For example, Fiyero was similar to a tribal African, and the driver (forgot his name xD) was this nobleman who was his friend)
