He came from Minato/Atsuko, and was once a being who was merely a Shadow without emotion. He had only purpose. He was sealed in one of the two above (depending on what timeline) and laid in wait for 10 years before he popped back out again to destroy the world. Instead of death "coming," he says that "people will forfeit the will to live."
MEMORIES/TRAITS: Darkness. Quiet. Comfortable. There's a lot of love here. There may be the occasional flash of memory. A door with a figure hanging on it, and a beast with horns made out of shadow with a disfigured face. These will probably only come if he spends an extended amount of time there.

But the one thing the author was hinting at before she stopped updating is that Hanna is either not quite human, or is only a shell of a human. Most of the non-human characters in HiNaBN have commented that he "reeks of death," even though he is clearly alive. UNDER LOCK: According to the author (when asked by someone else, apparently) Hanna had a "run-in" with a ghost when he was 16.
