A warning for Paypal users

Here's a complaint letter I just sent to Paypal, after my account was locked out due to "suspicious activity". The activity in question was an attempt by me to conduct a transaction while traveling. What I didn't know at the time was that they still took the money out of my bank account and placed it in my paypal account before locking it down

And it can get worse from there. It's particularly annoying because PayPal is sold on the idea that it's quick, easy, your friend, blablabla.

Oh, and PayPal *still* has ~$45 of mine floating in an old account from an Amazon booksale 4 yrs ago. I've actually been told by customer service that I have no way of getting it out.

"Out" implies that your money is in a lockbox with no key. What you mean is that there's no way of getting it back.
