I love the blinking eyes on the BMW. The fabric idea is very clever even if it's impractical. (ease of damage, theft etc)
The Aptera looks lovely. It's like a commercialized, prettier version of this thing: http://nasu-dengaku.livejournal.com/64246.html Aerodynamics counts for a lot! I just hope it's not too cramped for a tall guy like me.
Thanks for the Aptera video. Been interested in what they look like moving. The interviewer...seemed...um...dead.
Got to say though, look unstable in a cross wind and likely to be squished like grape when confronted with a SUV. Center of gravity seems high, unlike say a windcheetah recumbant bicycle.
It's a concern, though they claim that their safety specs meet or exceed federal standards for passenger vehicles, and they will be conducting crash tests.

The way the hood opens up is really quite suggestive. As one friend said, "GINA? They say it rhymes with Tina, but with the way the hood opens up, it totally rhymes with Dinah."
