Public Service Announcement: Property Taxes

5:00pm is the deadline today for the first half of the year's property taxes, which I forgot until the radio reminded me on the drive in. Guess I'm heading home during lunch today. The county has an online thing, but it doesn't, y'know, work.

Shouldn't that be the second half?

How interesting. Our county's deadlines are April 30th and October 31st.

It's actually the first half - the county fiscal year starts July 01, so they bill on November and March (with deadlines 40 days later).
