Given that I'm not having any problems with LJ and I'm not looking for even more social networks to spread my attention across, is there a compelling reason to switch?

not really.... lj just feels a bit old and tired and restrictive these days. i don't post much... i don't respond much... and i don't use other social networks much... i'm in the same boat... just offering another oar if you so desire ^_^
