My only experience with the Blue Ridge Parkway was a family trip when I was about 8. All I remember was my dad cursing the whole time due to zero visibility and rain. I was hunkered down in the back seat crying.

it's not that bad, you should go again to erase those bad memories :p

.. though there was one point where it was near zero visibility at the top of a mountain. I was in the clouds >.>

I need to head down that way again, but on the bike. The roads down there are far more interesting than what we have up here. Much more technical and fun, even in southwestern NY state, and mid PA is a lot more interesting than here.

Also, OMG you're a brony! Although I remember you said that in another post, did you get your butt tattooed with something?! Kodi has a paw on his fursuit butt. What do you suppose that means?!

The problem with Ontario is that we don't have real hills. No hills = boring roads.

And yes I like the ponies, no I didn't get a butt tattoo :P
So far I find the brony fandom is VERY similar to furry, right now I'd call it a "focused offshoot" of the furry fandom that seemed to gain its own life. Their biggest con, in its 3rd year, is already bigger than Anthrocon. No idea how that happened.

Oh, it's pretty easy to understand how a MLP con could become larger than a furry con; MLP is on a major TV network (maybe more than one?) and a lot of youtube as well. Furry, you actually have to dig around or accidentally stumble across it to find it. At least that's how I got into furry, coming from being in the Lion King fandom.

I also expect that when some people find the MLP universe limiting in the future, they might transfer over to furry, much like a lot did in the Lion King fandom.
