The back of that head is almost identical to mine...minus the feathers...at least im pretty sure feathers dont float around in that area, kinda hard to see after all.

a word to the wise and unfeathered--avoid really large spontaneous pillow fights. you will not make it out unscathed.

If I were a publisher and that a first page to a novel, you'd have yourself a goddamn contract. In seattle at all this summer?

for three solid months. we need to chill but for real this time, no more of that running-into-you-at-the-blockparty-which-by-the-way-is-sooo-not-impressive-this-year foolishness.

You've got yourself a deal, missy. Program my new #: 206-473-0430. Let ze chillingz Commencen.

and okay yes it's not impressive but I still swoon for the Hold Steady. I mean c'mon, who else plays power-chord-driven songs about badass dead poets like John Berryman and Yeates?

By the way, are you going to any of the SIFF? I plan to splurge on 10-15, depending on the prospects...

the Hold Steady makes me bitter. Franz, their accordion player, was off covorting with them the last two times I went to see his real band. World/Inferno F.S. just isn't the same without him. Also, I feel obliged to see Vampire Weekend for cultural reference, but...

I haven't looked at the SIFF lineup yet, but I'm down. especially if they're showing Battle in Seattle. I don't even care, the title is worth it.

Well, shit, Charlotte, that's the first good thing I've read on Livejournal in months.

If you get the inclination to, open more windows into your head? They're some kind of beautiful...

My personal sense of the geography of New York has many faults. The word sexiled makes me laugh. Whitman would teach Wilde of wonderful dark Americas just for them to be lined in Victorian lace. I remember when you said that your eyelashes were so long when you were little little that they'd stick together, and now Nutella is doing that for you?
Messy.
