Well I finally did something about an issue thats been bothering me for two years now. I had lent my lap top to a friend,MB, but during the time I had done so she droped it and busted the side of the screen. At the time I did not see any problem until later when I discovered the CD drive no longer worked. We had gotten a warrenty from comp USA

Hey, I saw your comment in the game developers group and I thought I'd contact you. I am looking into Flash engines for use direct from a website. I recently saw a game which successfully employed this called tactics arena online, and the graphics were actually good. Do you know about designing flash engines? Or what I am talking about?

I have a vague idea of what you are talking about, though I have flash I haven't used it much. From what usage I have gotten out of it, and thats just about the length of the tutorials, Flash is not that difficulty to work with.

Yeah, Xenogears inspired me big time, since then I've been on a mecha kick and heavy story based games.

What type of project are you working on? How is it mapped? I have been thinking of having an standard grid, no world map, etc.. at first. Just get the battle arena perfected and try to integrate anything else in.
