Alex is currently in France, aka the Motherland, catching up with his Mother's side of the family. His Mother paid for the tickets (which is why I'm not going).

Relations at my Mom's house are strained, so I'd love to hang out for diner during this weekend and next week at someone else's house. Let's do something grand, or simply lovely.
