so, playing around with sound lately....I have come across something quite intersting. It is a proggie called Coagula http://hem.passagen.se/rasmuse/Coagula.htm#Download which is a free utility that converts pictures to sound, and vise-versa ( Read more... )

from what i understand NASA has done the same thing by sending images out into space encoded in sound, just in case llife out there may grasp it and know what to do. I think they even touched on that sort of thing in the movie Contact, if I remember correct. It is quite amazing stuff :)
