what I find funny about that trivia is the fact that a corset doesnt even cover the area occupied by the esophogus, and if in fact a corset did apply pressure on an esophogus, it would kill you, because it would constrict your trachea as well, and you would suffacate.

well, that too. I can understand having trouble eating large quantities of food, but not having a problem with specifically what you eat. Besides, did she bother to try chewing her food? Usually that takes care of any sort of swallowing problems....

I have only once been put in a corset that bruised me and I was standing up in a wedding. That one I hated but I still managed to eat all most normal. So these actresses or who ever is wereing them need to learn how.

And thanks for doing the alterations on the dress it looks much better on me. Also nice not to have to worrie about triping on the hem.
