Wow. My inbox at work is actually empty. Considering I'm a David Allen acolyte, this should be an everyday occurrence, but it hasn't been for months.

It really is a relief, though. Maybe this will motivate me to do the same at home.

Got the XBox 360... Not only have I not purchased any games on an actual disc yet, I don't really care. Everything I'm playing has been downloaded to the hard drive (some actually purchased, some just demos).

I'm actually annoyed at the prospect of having to go pop a disc in once we buy something bigger. Downloads are definitely the future.

Diana's got A Rush of Blood to the Head playing via the Tivo... Jeremy listens intently while the music's playing but then starts hollering again whenever it stops.

Well, Death Cab had an obvious calming effect while he was in the womb, so I guess this shouldn't be too surprising.

Finally back at the office after more than a week of telecommuting... Nice to have an enforced break from diaper changing every 2 hours. I feel bad for Diana though, 'cause she took all the shifts last night so I could get some sleep ( Read more... )

It's 11 PM and I'm in the middle of work, with a one-week-old baby sleeping on my lap. I'm working now because I was unable to rouse myself before 1 in the afternoon, and I spent most of the day running around trying to take care of Diana (who has to spend all her time taking care of the baby).

Has this kid fucked with my schedule? Naaah...

Why did I let Archive set on my hard drive so long before checking them out? These are the most beautiful beats I've heard since Portishead.

Diana's ob-gyn OKed our discharge this morning. We can take our time getting out the door though, so we're building up the energy. (I've actually had it relatively easy, sleeping 4 hours at a stretch sometimes. Diana's had to do feedings every 2-3 hours or so, on top of all the interruptions from hospital staff ( Read more... )
