Driving Around

I haven't updated for a while, as I've been outside taking full advantage of these relatively rain-free days lately. It's supposed to stay dry and sunny at least until the weekend, so that's something... ;-)

Kibbeling is great, we often have it for lunch on Friday (Friday is traditionally fish day, but don't ask me why...).

I don't know whether it's typical for the Netherlands, but people here can be incredibly impatient in traffic. Some people behave as if they never ever make a mistake themselves (as if...), especially when you're a woman, because there's this idea that women can't drive (whereas the statistics show that women cause a lot less accidents than men and some insurance companies even give women drivers a discount on their car insurance).

I find American drivers much more impatient than the Dutch ones actually.. sometimes I am simply amazed by how they react (and drive) in traffic!!

But it's true, some people (everywhere you can find them I guess:)) think they are wonderful faultless drivers, while in fact they would have trouble passing their driving test if they had to do it again ;)
