Short LJ entries? Is that possible?

I just got my maandnetkaart, which allows me to ride the train anywhere I want within the Netherlands, and have been making good use of it these past few days. :) On Friday, I took a quick trip to Amsterdam to pick up a document that Rick needed. The "maandnetkaart" is one that allows you to travel throughout the country right? Or is it one between Schagen and Leiden? I forgot what all they are called.. Hey did you not get a studentOVjaarkaart?
And even for me the zonestructure on the Amsterdam trams are confusing ;) So often I end up asking how many I need to stamp hehehe. (that is, in case I can't use my OV ;)).

Yep, the maandnetkaart means I can travel anywhere. I got that one instead of the maandtrajectkaart between Schagen and Leiden, since they both cost the same amount! I will eventually get an OV-jaarkaart, but not until I get my residence permit. When I have that, I send a copy of the permit to the IB-groep and then I will be able to get my OV, but until then I just have to pay for the train on my own. I doubt I will get reimbursed, either. Too bad. :(

I don't think anyone understands the zonestructure of the Amsterdam trams... ;-)

When I still lived in Amsterdam, I had a "maandkaart" for the bus, to get to a place just outside of Amsterdam where I worked. After several months it turned out I had the wrong card with the wrong number of zones, but all these months none of the bus drivers had noticed that. So even they don't know... ;-))
