There really are few things in life more wonderful than pink fondant cupcakes. They're charmingly, unabashedly artificial with their lovely Pepto Bismol-pink glaze. In fact, I don't think they'd be half so appealing if they were any other color. Nothing but butter, flour, sugar, eggs, and artificial dyes... mmmmm.

Definitely true, but I always wind up convincing myself to buy them anyway just because they are so very pink... :)

I was in the supermarket a couple of days ago and there was a little girl asking her mom: "Can we get the PINK cupcakes?" Made me smile.
