i've got the catalog for the summer and fall schedules at kean. i also found out that my final semester i am only allowed to take two classes and that's only if i pass the praxis. i sent an email to the transfer office to see if i can take a summer class even though i'm not set to start until fall. i'd like to take bio this summer and get one more ( Read more... )

hmm...just went through this myself 2 years ago for grad school, (and, of course, still paying for it...prepare yourself. It might make you feel better that a successful doc of mine told me two years ago that he just paid off his last med-school loan, and that his daughter was starting college that year. heh! loans go part-and-parcel with education, unless you are well-off/wealthy, or have that sugar daddy that you mentioned). Thinking back, I got a Federal Loan which covered most of my tuition, a Perkins and a Stafford Loan to cover the rest, and had to take out a HESAA loan to cover summer classes. Stay away from Sally Mae and other organizations if possible, and stay in close contact with your school student loan department/financial office...they should be able to give you the best and most current advice. Also, I did the Work/Study program, and worked a nondescript job on campus. The job let me set my own schedule every semester and was very accomodating, and while it wasn't a lot of money, the way that Work-Study works is that ( ... )
