according to the guy with unfortunate facial hair, all the brakes were going out and had to be replaced.

$510? Gee whiz... I hope this was on a Mercedes 300SL or something.

Either that, or a nice new master cylinder and all new hardware going out to each wheel. If it's just for new pads, rotors, and a brake fluid bleed, that's a big chunk of change.

Good that you have nice fresh brakes, though. I like the idea that your car works like it should, y'know?
