Thursday......my voice is almost back to normal. I'm tired but otherwise doing ok, I think every day away from most of the meds is a better day. I just need to purge all of them. The pain pills are the hardest-because my back continues to hurt something awful

I'm sorry that friendships are unraveling that you thought you could count on. Been there, but I've found I prefer to have fewer friends, but friends that I can count on. I'm finding I like a bit of distance with the others in my life (the not-friends).

I'm no unhappy with the overall process-I think I am just surprised that I allow myself to be fooled into thinking certain people are really friends when they are not. I am much happier calling a few people friends rather than giving that name to people who don't deserve it-
