Me too! It's not often you find what you want and the price is right too. But if it's not there... I'll find something different, I'm sure.

I could always go back and see if they'll hold it until Friday for a small deposit...

Well there's only so much plastic crap you can sell, even in a recession ;)

But yeah... even here, where we're relatively unscathed by the recession, there are way too many store closings. And if they close down one of the bases, we could be next to feel the pinch.

Are they talking of closing one of the bases? Which one?

Several of them have been bruited about, but you know, the last time they were talking about this I didn't know what was what so I don't remember. Next time it comes around I'll pay more attention; I actually know where more than Oceana is (and I knew that because those jets on a string pluck my nerves!)

They also talk about moving one of the carriers down to FL for its home port. Every time the Feds talk about moving any of the military presence, the home folks have heart failure.

I may look for another location of VCF, but as I said I did find an outlet with similar pricing. So I guess that's all right.
