4.7 inch heel? Even with a 1-inch platform, that's 3.7 inches! I think that's even higher than mine! How can you walk?
And $110 is totally reasonable for a pair of nice shoes. If they're actually worth that price, and you're careful not to scuff them all up, they'll last for a long time. I probably spent around that much on my first pair of boots with 3-inch heels, and I wore them for years. One suggestion? Keep them in your closet. :) Clogs are nice and crunchy, wouldn't want any cats chewing on your soulmates.
Once I bought them, I put them on at work and was perfectly fine for about 4 hours. Then my ankles started to give out a lot and I had to switch back to the flats that I had been wearing. These aren't even the highest shoes I have, considering I have a pair of boots that have the exact same size heel height with no platform.
I should probably find a closet other than mine to store them in, considering the floor of my closet is about a foot-high sea of crap.
