“This must be what the old west was like -- dodging bullets!” “...In your mini van.”

From July 2nd to July 9th, my family and I took a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Bit of background on the park:

--It is a fucking active volcano. All of the crazy stuff that you go there to see (and there is a lot) is because of the activity going on underneath the ground ( Read more... )

i don't like to use people's names okay?, yellowstone

Omg, why are there no photos. :'| CRUEL, KRISTEN.

"Pray"? SOUNDS HOKEY.

The baby animals sound like the best part! And all the bison!

I googled the Grand Prismatic Spring and it looks like a cross between an oil spill and something from outer space. Neato.

wtf, that horse stuff is scary. You'd think they'd be more chill than that, but I guess horses can be unpredictable. I went to horsebackriding camp for a week when I was seven, and our horses were pretty chill but mine was impatient too.

Kayaking always looked hard to me! I'm glad to hear it's not!

BEAR CUBSSSSS. PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE PICS.

Draft horses are super cute! You picked well!

I'm glad you had fun. I totally missed you though! :'|

There are no photos because my computer can't talk to the memory card and I hate our 50 thousand other computers.

Think less hokey, more Overrun with Mosquitos. There was not enough going on there to count as hokey.

There were also BABY BISON. Best of both worlds!

It is neat. Even the smoke is different colors.

Even the best trained, most chilled horse is still an animal and therefore unpredictable. Had the horses been supervised by wranglers in the corral, though, it probably would have been prevented.

I know! I thought it would be super hard!

I do! Of their widdle faces and you can see their eyes! Just...not on my computer.

If draft horse is an option, you gotta wait for the draft horse. Even though it was super high up there and kind of intimidating.

I missed you, too! Days were so long and full of doing stuff that even though we had internet and existing was possibly, I was too tired to really do so.

That sounds awesome! I'd love to do something like that, just go around and see the national parks in the western part of the country. I think that would be fun.
And geez, I thought I had a lot of IM shirts! Haha

I heartily recommend it!

I have 7. I stopped buying them once I had a full week's worth.

Awwww it sounds like you had fun! I'm totally jealous. A place called Dragon’s Mouth Spring has to be pretty majestic. And I'm so impressed with your Iron Man wardrobe, LMAO.

The hot spring is inside a cave, so you see the mouth of the cave with tons of smoke billowing out. Also, the bacteria in there produces this sound.. It basically looks and sounds as though there is a fire-breathing dragon inside the cave.
