They turned out so cute and have got me thinking about what else I can do with multiple pieces. It's fun hearing your creative process....new ideas, coming out of experiments, leading to new experiments... it's cool. I like compartmented dishes for parties, definitely. Olives, dips, relishes. And square things---you know I drink tea...something that would hold many tea packets? Also, I use square or rectangular baskets in my cabinets for small stuff--little spice containers, boullion cubes, caps and corks and whatevers... the nice thing about 4-sided containers is that they fit nicely on shelves... just brain storming here. Can't wait to see the pix!

One gift someone gave me was a set of 3 square-sided pots/bowls that lined up on a rectangular plate. I think it's supposed to be a planter but I've been using it as food serving plates (mixed nuts, sauces, candy) or a way to organize ingredients while I'm cooking (chopped onions, chopped carrots, minced herbs, etc all lined up so they can be thrown into the pan when I'm ready for them).
