First step - greenware. Pieces are made, trimmed, handled and decorated. VERY fragile at this point and would dissolve if put into water! After this, they'll turn a peach color. Then they'll be glazed and fired again, and the colors will POP!

These were among several things I worked on today. They're large - should be about a liter capacity, I am hoping, once they're fired and final size.

Oh, and little bud vases that were spouts that didn't get used. :-)

Do you like my display?

I went to Michaels and bought some of that flower arrangement foam and used a square basket and silk flowers that I had at home. I bought the flowers a few years ago for a display table and they've been sitting on the shelf in my studio for a long time. I was glad I could put them to use!
