School is very close to being done and i am very excited. Thanksgiving break gave me a taste of freedom and now i crave it.

I love when it snows. I love the sky before it snows... it's like the whole earth is waiting in anticipation for something wonderful and all is silent and at peace. It is so beautiful and pure.

Haha...that was the worst thing about home schooling when I was little. I always was afraid it would all melt before I got done.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure sometime near the end of Christmas break we should finally have our Lostathon just in time for the second half of the season

You wouldn't quite be you without homeschooling. You'd be a variation on a theme, but it's not the free time that's the big benefit...it's the freedom to think and develop without having to move in herds...and without offending those with inferiority complexes if you don't agree (and appear to "challenge/confront" them)...and the lack of having to validate neuroses by being pressed to agree that things are "hard," "useless," "weird," "worthless."

You've benefited from not having been pulled aside and notified that you're being "different from the rest of us, and it's terribly inconvenient and unsettling." (You know, in so many words.)

Plus you would have had many more boys around doing uncivilized boy things. Knocking things down. Strutting about. Using bad grammar. Roughhousing. Trying to invent fire and the wheel. Etc.
