Far be it from me to speak against parents, and I think it's always good to at least listen to their wisdom, but you're living you're own life away from home right now. So although your dad may not be happy, I think it's safe to say that, ultimately, you get to make your own decisions. I'm personally kind of pleased to see you've done this (not that my opinion matters really, but still) because you said it's what you've really wanted to do and although you like physics, it seemed as though it was always bringing you down and making you pretty miserable (although you're still one of the smartest people I know. ;) ) Hopefully now if you pursue this food stuff, you'll actually like it and have a lot of fun with it

I have been feeling the same way too. I just found out that my school lies when it says 4 year program, cause that includes summer and winter break courses. which sucks, a lot. and because I transferred, I am way behind! it's frustrating and I jsut went through this whole "oh my gaw im never going to graduate" feeling. it sucks a lot but in the end I've come to realize that if it takes one more semester, then so be it. as long as my work is good and I'm proud of what I've accomplished.
