I need stuff to read. I have 12 things on hold at the library, and none of them are there yet!! Geez. I sat down yesterday and wrote down all the books I remember reading since January (not counting rereads and books for ( Read more... )

Hehehehehe Bob Saget! Just seeing his name makes me giggle - so your friends did silly things involving his name too??? Wow small world - mine started this thing in college where I loved old men (which I don't - mainly started because I let it slip that I did not find Sean Connery attractive which was apparently a sin in the eyes of some of my friends (go figure) so they started this thing where I must like other old men like Bob Dole (yeeek!) and somehow Bob Saget got thrown into the mix...we're just weird I guess).

Wow congrats on you and the books - I wish I had read 37!!! I feel like I have had no free time to read to enjoy myself this year, which might explain why I have 3 books started at one time at the moment...but I totally understand that book craving...hey could you recommend me some good ones?

Never seen Sin City but I'm dying to! When does it come out on DVD?

Heh. There's just something about Bob Saget's name that makes people want to laugh, I guess.

As for book recs, lately I've been reading some really fluffy romance books and superhero-y graphic novels - which is a wierd combination, I know. Meggin Cabot's books The Boy Next Door, Boy Meets Girl, and Every Boy's Got One are good. Funny and nice, but not too long. And Marvel 1602 by Neil Gaiman is one of the best graphic novels ever, in my opinion.

Sin City!! I haven't seen it either, but I've seen bunches of clips online. It's out on Aug. 16, I think :)
