I started a Christmas List today. It consists mostly of design books and the movie The Challengers (made-for-tv movie from the 90s) which apparently is somewhat available on used VHS tapes. I've been looking everywhere for a nice laptop bag.. as in not a huge, black, bulky manly thing. Of course all the pretty girly ones are online for like $400 bucks. Anyways I found a nice big brown bag at a charity shop today, which with a little revamping will make quite a nice laptop bag, I think. And hey, a bag, a shirt and 5 belts for $1... why

My trip was amazing. Two family reunions, a wedding, a week on the island, sandcastles, swimming at night, hiking, reading, hammocks, shopping, eating, 8mm movie night, fun! Since I've been back it's been pretty much just work (just 50 hours left!) but I did go on a pub crawl last weekend (so fun!) and am heading to the cottage tonight with Sara's ( Read more... )

23 days until vacation time! I'm going to BC and Alberta for three weeks to visit all the family. One whole week on my Grampa's island, just swimming, hiking and other sorts of things you do on an island with a population of 100 people. There's always the nude beaches... crazy hippy island. Yay!
