2. Who left me the following voice mail last night: "Matt Wilson is holding my phone up to the ear. Up to my ear. And I'm high"?

Will someone get me a subscription to "Film Comment" for Christmas? Please? It's only $25, and it will make me feel so pretentious.

Also, if I ever direct a movie, I hope a critic describes it as "wildly irreverent!"

Chris' cell phone was stolen last night. He doesn't have a landline or internet, so there's no way to get a hold of him right now. Alone, alone, a castaway on a barren isle in a lonely sea.

Don't try to call and talk to the thief. The phone is disconnected.

My brother tells me that [straight] men cannot be platonic friends with women unless they are not AT ALL physically attracted to said women. He claims that if a woman is even remotely attractive, men will only want to sleep with her, not befriend her. I say that is bullshit and men are not that shallow/horny. Who's right?
