kitty > argument textbook reading
so i adopted a cat today. i had fallen pretty hard for jason and casey's cats (carbunkle and chloe, respectively) and when i moved out of the house in indy i found myself talking in my kitty voice to empty air. this was problematic on a number of levels.
anyway, her name is lilo. or at least, that was her given name. i'm thinking of changing it, though i do not know yet to what. she's pretty damned cuddly, and is more likely to roll over for a bellyrub than bolt when approached. HATED the car ride home, though. produced a profoundly disturbing noise whenever my hand wasn't where she could nuzzle it. i will be taking her to the vet for a checkup tomorrow, but for now...KITTY! *hug*
