You should watch the first season so that you can read all our (mine, Cat's and citron_presse's) fic. There are even TVD crossovers for OBVIOUS REASONS!!!

I am looking forward to the fic more than the show, I think. It's being shown 5 days a week here for the forseeable, so I should be through the first season in not very long, provided I keep going. (I recorded today's episode, but haven't watched it yet. Too busy coughing.)

Heh, I haven't watched Neighbours in a very, very long time, and I think he was probably still in it then. I did also know him from House but, typically, can't remember his character's name. And you're right, they should have just made him be Australian. I kind of like it when shows come up with outlandish reasons for people to have geographically unlikely accents.

Chicago Fire was gr10 for the first half of the first season AND THEN IT WAS AWFUL. And it never got better. It's a show that always promises greatness and then fails to deliver in the most ginormous of ways.
