i am starting to panic

I feel like I am having an identity crisis, and quiet possibly an anxiety attack. I am having cold sweats/shivering, difficulty breathing and dizziness. It's not a physical problem at all. Sorry to hear you're having such a crappy time with this stuff. I'm afraid for you since I know how much you care about your education. I hope everything works out, I guess you won't know much until tomorrow, but good luck, keep me posted!

Thanks, the thing is, I shouldn't be freaking out. I would not be changing my degree, just my concentration. Health Science is actually better for me since it's geared for med students, and I have no desire to be a Biochemist but a doctor. The reason why I am nervous is that in IS Health Science I would have more freedom to take the sciecne courses I want and will use in med school. It's that freedom that makes me feel guilty and like I am taking the easy way out, when in fact it's just as hard but more useful. Still, the guilt is there. I have been mentally preparing myself to tough it out with these pointless courses and now that I know I don't have to...well, I am having a hard time accepting it I guess. I feel like there is a catch and I am screwing my self over.

Maybe it's just because you're intelligent, so you think that you're taking the easy way out, when for the average person, maybe it's not so easy?
