So...I woke up this morning to an awesome crashing sound. I figured it was just Rufie knocking something over. Walked out of my room to find what?? My front door wide open, someone's hand shutting it, and locking itself!!!! NICE ( Read more... )

Call your landlord and ask if it was him. IF NOT, change your locks ASAP.

I agree with Patrick on this one, make sure it was your landlord. If it was, ask him to please let you know before he comes in, just as a courtesy because he nearly scared the crap out of you. Don't make it sound like, "We have illegal pets, so let us know so we can put them away before you come over," just a, "I was extremely frightened... could you please give us a warning before you come over?" After all, as a renter, it's your right to know when they're coming into your home.

If it wasn't your landlord, do what Patrick suggests and have your locks changed as soon as you can. It probably means your landlord is an awful landlord and didn't change locks between occupants... which is awful (and unlawful, I think).

WAH....it was Nate. He thought I was sleeping so he didn't say hi, but he forgot something he needed for school so was all in a rush. -_- Oh boys....
