Wow, I can hardly imagine being without a fridge for 3 weeks! Doesn't take raccoons long to capitalize on the situation, apparently. Good luck with the new parts.

The raccoons have been capitalizing on our garbage for a while (they're mighty crafty--and strong!), so I suppose it's a short walk from 'garbage bins next to the porch' to the porch itself... *sigh*

Yes, and today, two birds apparently flew in through the new hole and then couldn't figure out how to get out. When I got out there, they were busy attacking the screening in a desperate-looking attempt to get out... *sigh*

Oh, and ask me if our fridge is working yet. I can assure you that the answer is less than 3 letters... *double sigh*
