Summary: New York, the city of sins welcomes Lea, Dianna, Heather and Naya. Dianna gets into New York's mood so quick? We'll see.
AN: Just a small chapter because I had to get some things out of the way before writing what's leading to the big ending.
They walked into the set the next day hand in hand, not afraid of what anyone might say or the way anyone might judge them.
They were waiting for everyone else to get ready for the song they’re singing in a bit, whispering to each other and laughing genuinely when Ryan Murphy walked up to them calmly.
“Lea, could I have a word with you for a second?” he said, putting his hand over Lea’s shoulder.
“Yeah sure”. Lea turned back to Dianna saying “See you in a bit babe”and pecking her fiancé on the lips before following Ryan into the choir room.
He took a seat in front of her before looking at her “So care to tell me what’s going on?”
“With what?”
He sighed “With you and Dianna, Lea. You know I meant that”
“oh..We’re engaged now”
Ryan was looking at her with a serious expression “Do you know what the producers are thinking?”
“No…”
“They’re thinking about letting you go from the show. They don’t like that you and Dianna are engaged when you’re supposed to be enemies” said Ryan.
Lea clenched her hands into fists in her lap and said “Well we’re not so they have to accept that, besides, glee is NOTHING without me or Rachel”
Ryan rest a hand over his forehead, still looking at Lea “Well, they can let Dianna go. They can make the writers pull Quinn out of the story one way or another.”
Lea froze, she didn’t want to be the reason Dianna’s career may be in jeopardy.
Dianna, who was standing at the door silently, spoke up “Glee is not the end of the road for me. I have a lot of offers; some may contain bigger roles than Quinn.”
Lea shook her head weakly “It doesn’t have to be that way, Di”
Dianna put a hand over her own mouth, whispering “Don’t tell me you’re calling the engagement off, we didn’t even last a day. Don’t do this, Lea.”
Lea just smiled softly “You’re so innocent, Di. I’m more evil than you are. I'm not going to be the same old fool and let you go again.” Then she turned to Ryan “Tell the producers if Dianna goes, I go, let’s see how the show would do without me.”
Ryan smiled “That’s going to be terrifying news for them. You know I love both of you girls and if this is making you happy then I won’t object. It’s not a crime to love.”
Lea patted Ryan’s shoulder when she got up “Thanks, Ryan. We appreciate it.”
Dianna nodded while taking Lea’s hand in her own “We do. Thanks Ryan.”
Ryan nodded lightly “No problem. Good luck, girls.”
Lea and Dianna smiled and went back to the set. Lea knew the producers would never let her go and would be terrified to let Dianna go after she said she would leave the show if Dianna did. She had the producers wrapped around her finger.
